AirWatch provides compete mobility management solutions for BlackBerry enterprise deployments with key management functionality experienced from a BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES). Operating system versions supported include BlackBerry 5, 6, 7 and the latest BlackBerry 10.
Users can enroll BlackBerry devices without administrator interaction by navigating to the URL, and entering the specified Group ID and credentials. Then, users are authenticated and AirWatch pushes user-specific profiles and apps to the device. Email auto-discovery is supported for BlackBerry 10.
AirWatch authenticates users during enrollment and before granting access to corporate resources, apps and content. AirWatch supports basic, directory services and token-based authentication, and enables administrators to customize authentication methods and checkpoints. Administrators can also require a device passcode, manage email access and restrict device features, including call redirect, graphics and backlight, and timeout settings.
AirWatch integration with BES allows your organization to utilize existing BES infrastructure and centralize management of multiple device platforms to a single console. From the admin console, you can remotely manage your devices with over-the-air commands, including clear passcode, lock device, wipe device, enterprise wipe and troubleshooting. Administrators can monitor their entire BlackBerry fleet using real-time dashboards with graphical displays, and drill down into specific device details, including GPS location, installed applications, roaming status and more through scheduled syncs.
