Secure Distribution and Mobile Access to Corporate Content

Your employees need anytime, anywhere access to corporate documents to stay productive. Mobile device users are increasingly adopting widely available, free file sharing services, and these apps can put your sensitive information at risk. You need a way to provide convenient and secure mobile access to corporate content and enable employee collaboration anytime, anywhere.

AirWatch® enables secure distribution and mobile access to documents with AirWatch Secure Content Locker™ (SCL). With SCL, you can protect sensitive content in a corporate container, and provide employees with a central point to securely access the latest sales presentation, board book or financial report from their mobile device.

Secure Content Locker

Secure Content Locker

With Secure Content Locker™, you can protect sensitive content in a corporate container, and secure distribution and mobile access. Administrators can ensure end users always have the latest material at their fingertips with easy updating and automatic file downloads. With SCL, your end users have anytime, anywhere access to Microsoft Office, iWorks, iBooks, ePub, images, video and audio files plus more.

Security

Users are authenticated using existing corporate credentials before gaining access to Secure Content Locker. AirWatch supports two-factor authentication, SAML, certificates and PKI. Data is encrypted in-transit and at-rest with AES 256-bit, FIPS 140-2 compliant encryption. Access can be limited to a specific location with geofencing, and administrators can prevent editing and printing. Administrators can limit opening content in third-party apps to only approved, whitelisted aplications. Device status is continuously monitored, and access can be disabled and content can be wiped if a device is compromised. You can also require web page links to open into AirWatch Browser™ for ultimate security.

Terms of Use

Terms of Use

AirWatch enables administrators to require users accept a Terms of Use agreement before accessing Secure Content Locker. Terms of Use agreements can be standard across the board or customized for different user roles, device ownership types, platforms, business units or countries. The Terms of Use notifies users of exactly what data will be collected, what it will be used for, and what security parameters are in place to protect information. Administrators can track users’ acceptance of the Terms of Use from the AirWatch console. AirWatch also supports multi-lingual Terms of Use agreements.

File Synchronization

With AirWatch, you can ensure that your users always have access to the latest document versions with advanced file synchronization capabilities, effective and expiration dates, and automatic updates. You can sync files for your entire organization, or for a specific user or group. Synchronization can be automatic or performed on-demand. To save on data costs, you can limit synchronization to Wi-Fi only and enable offline access on a per document basis.

Personal Sync & Storage

Secure Content Locker allows users to upload personal content into a secure folder. With the AirWatch self-service portal, users can drag-and-drop files from their desktop into a personal folder in Secure Content Locker. Administrators can set maximum file sizes to limit file uploads. From this folder, users can share files with others and enable anytime, secure access to their personal content.

Desktop Sync

Desktop Sync

Secure Content Locker Sync™ enables two-way synchronization of content from users’ desktops to devices. Syncronization is based on a scheduler and real-time folder changes for personal and shared content, so users' content is always up-to-date. Users can view the sync status and receive notification of sync failures. SCL Sync is available for both Mac and Windows.

Collaboration and Sharing

From personal content folders in Secure Content Locker, users can share files with internal or external (if enabled) stakeholders and enable collaboration through editing privileges and file annotation. Administrators can enforce complex passcodes, limit number of downloads and set expiration dates for content shared externally. Users can assign different access and privileges to their personal content folder to other users, including owner, co-owner, editor and reader. Editing privileges enable users to edit content stored in personal content folders, which is then synced with and accessible to others. Secure Content Locker backs up all of your work, and you can revert back to previous versions of your document any time.

Flexible Content Storage

AirWatch Mobile Access Gateway™ (MAG) enables flexible content storage options for Secure Content Locker.
