AirWatch integration with NitroDesk TouchDown enables a separate container for email on Android and Apple iOS devices. With AirWatch, you can require a passcode for access, disable copy/paste from email text, and disable data backup and settings to prevent data loss and secure corporate data. Administrators can also enforce device and SD card encryption for ultimate security.
AirWatch Email Container for Android is a secure, sandboxed email client. Ideal for BYOD programs, AirWatch Email Container provides a native Android user experience with additional usability enhancements. To keep data secure, limit access to only AirWatch provisioned EAS and POP email accounts. With AirWatch, you can silently configure and update email profiles over-the-air.
AirWatch secures not only emails, but also email attachments. Block attachments based on document file type and require that approved attachments open in Secure Content Locker™. Attachments are encrypted using AES 256-bit encryption and you can prevent copy/paste of data from an attachment to another application. If a device is detected as compromised, attachments are wiped from the device.
